Often translated as having components of both the sun and the moon, Hatha Yoga is a smooth introduction to yoga postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama), taught both in isolation and in sequence with one another. The postures are designed to open channels in the body, facilitating flow of energy that balances and unites opposites within us. The focus on breath brings our awareness inward to help still the disquieted mind and restore the natural peace of mind-body-spirit. Our instructors will work with beginners and experienced yogis alike to extend your own yoga practice, whether your goals be spiritual awareness, longer, looser musculature or anything else you bring with you.
